Join us for a special program honoring the contributions of women to Georgetown County.
Anna Hyatt Huntington (1876-1973) will be the sixth woman inducted into the Georgetown County Women’s Hall of Fame in recognition of her lifetime achievements and contributions to the life of Georgetown County. Fittingly, 2016 is the 85th anniversary of Brookgreen Gardens – of which Huntington and her husband were founders – being established as America’s first public sculpture garden.
This year's keynote speaker is Robin R. Salmon, Vice President of Art and Historical Collections/Curator of Sculpture.
The event celebrates Women’s History Month. March is annually declared the month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
