In today’s hyper-connected business environment, it has never been more important for businesses to manage and protect their presence online.
This session will discuss the threats and risks to businesses who neglect or overlook the importance of having an online presence, and will seek to provide tips for business owners who are looking to take control of their online reputation.
The program will be presented by Peter Gasca, Founding Director for the Community and Business Engagement (CoBE) Institute for Coastal Carolina University, where he also serves as Executive in Residence and Associate Professor of Business in the Wall College of Business.
He is the founder of Naked Cask, a unique craft beer brewery business model that was accepted to Startup.SC, a business incubator focused on fast growing and scalable businesses that have the potential to reach $10M in five years.
Peter was the co-founder and CEO of Wild Creations, a national toy developer located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Wild Creations was recognized by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce as the #1 fastest growing company in South Carolina in 2010, and by the Inc 500/5000 twice as one of the fastest growing US small business. For his accomplishments at Wild Creations, Peter was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year for the Carolinas by Ernst and Young in 2011.
