Warm Hearts. Warm Cocoa. Warm Community.Hot Chocolate and Horses
Murrells Inlet, SC — Barnabas Horse Foundation invites the community to our Hot Chocolate & Horses Community Open House on Saturday, December 6, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at 4533 New River Road, Murrells Inlet. This free event is our heartfelt “thank you” to a community that continues to support the healing work made possible through our therapy horses.
Guests will enjoy a festive hot chocolate bar and homemade cookies, visit with Santa, and meet our therapy horses during demonstrations that showcase the powerful connection between horses and humans. Our Equine Angel Tree will offer opportunities to sponsor a therapy horse or fulfill a special need, and a food truck will be on-site to add to the fun.
“This is one of our favorite days of the year,” said Sue McKinney, Founder and President. “There is nothing more meaningful than opening our gates and sharing the peace, hope, and healing these horses bring.”
In the spirit of giving, we encourage visitors to bring canned or non-perishable food items to support Meals on Wheels and help provide meals to local seniors.
