American Red Cross Mobile Blood Drive in Memory of Veteran Bill Abee

The Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce and the American Red Cross are proud to partner to host a community Blood Drive in memory of local Veteran Bill Abee, the late husband of longtime Chamber team member Sharon Abee.

Blood drives are vital to saving lives — every donation can help up to three patients in need, from accident victims and surgery patients to those battling cancer or chronic illnesses. The need for blood is constant, and drives like this ensure hospitals in our community and across the nation have the lifesaving supply they rely on.

This event also honors the life and service of Bill Abee, a proud veteran who dedicated his life to his family, his country, and his community. By giving blood, we not only remember Bill’s legacy but also extend his spirit of service to others in need.
